About Us

Drones for Mapping and Beyond

Pathfinder Drone Services strives to provide the latest in UAS and GIS technology to the Northern Rockies region.  Pathfinder Drone Services is a subsidiary of Ethnotech LLC, a Cultural Resource Consulting firm that has operated in Montana for over a decade.  Our staff have experience in a variety of industries and are familiar with the particular needs of a variety of clients.

Pathfinder uses the ESRI ecosystem to turn drone imagery into GIS ready products such as orthoimagery, digital surface models and 3D Scenes. We have spatial analysis capabilities allowing us to get you the answers you need from the data.  In addition, we host our drone created products on the webGIS platform ArcGIS online for easy sharing and access if desired. Pathfinder can also address a variety of photography and video needs.  Our drone fleet can meet your needs no matter the project.

While we have only been in business for three years, our company pilots are well versed in the suite of technologies that accompany drone services. We have experience operating high accuracy GPS units, doing autonomous flight planning, ground control setup, drone firmware upgrades, RTK drones, video editing and beyond.  No matter the project, Pathfinder can get the job done!
